Tloma is like many parts of the world where people need medical attention but there are not enough resources to support the community.
It was recently brought to our attention that Zawadiel, one of the students at Tloma Primary School, has a deformed foot that severely hinders her mobility. Walking is very difficult for her. Getting to and from school is challenging; Zawadiel must rely on others to help her walk.
Tloma Giving has purchased a pair of crutches for her to use to help her get around. Now she can move around on her own without having to depend on others.
There is a new recovery center in Tloma that provides surgical aftercare, especially following procedures to correct clubfoot, cleft palate, and other children’s issues. The hope is that the center can provide a contact to someone who can treat Zawadiel. Once Zawadiel no longer needs the crutches, the plan is to donate them to the dispensary to help others as they recover from sprains, broken bones, deformities, or other mobility issues.
